This is such a fun Friday afternoon video! I really enjoyed learning about the detailed narrative process you undertook to respond to ‘Pocket Kering’. It was lovely to witness the collaboration and consultation that you engaged your community in to develop such a creative and playful approach to such serious concerns and problems. I look forward to hearing what this project makes possible for further local social actions and responses to ‘Pocket Kering’!

Warmly Phillipa x

I loved the cool comic book video you used to engage the families, Elizabeth. I think my team would love it, so I’ll share it with them next week – some of my colleagues facilitate kids groups and love creative ways of connecting. The Press Conference of Hope and Faith – what a beautiful title! It was so touching, hearing about the kids’ sensitive ways of caring for their parents. It was really lovely hearing about the proud moments for the parents. You created the space for parents and community members to be an audience to these stories of skill, and the children’s values. It was also good hearing from Rose about the challenges parents are facing, and her passion for giving back to the community and making poverty more visible to create change. All the best for the conference!
