Particular interests and hopes for connection: What sparked my interest in working from a Narrative framework was that it fit so comfortably with my intentions for my work and personal beliefs about people and their capacity to step away from problem stories towards preferred identities. I enjoy the chance to explore values and context and de-construct assumptions and find the collaborative stance and the hope contagious as we sift together for hidden glimmers. The ethics and accountability that go with these practices invigorate my work. I am constantly exploring the intentions behind my questions and reflecting on my practice, and inviting those who consult with me to evaluate their experiences of the process. I am interested in developing these experiences with others in the field and more opportunities for outsider witnessing. I enjoy facilitating reflective practices and sharing in colleagues professional journeys. I currently run a monthly group for colleagues and have been facilitating some training and workshops. I am interested in expanding this area as I find it very reinforcing of my work and encourages further reflection on my practice! I am involved in developing an alternate suicide screening tool "The Survival Kit" and connecting Psychologists committed to a post-structuralist framework through the APS Narrative Interest Group.

Particular interests and hopes for connection: I am a 100% online counsellor dedicated to therapeutic practices that enrich our lives. I completed the inaugural year of the Masters and started in private practice five years ago. I mostly help women overcome the impacts of trauma; support couples who've lost touch to understand one another; and sit in a few other spaces journeying with folks who are grieving, grappling with crises of identity, wanting to feel better about themselves, and take action on the side of living their own lives.
